Step into the world of Fringe
The Perth Fringe Festival is the third-largest fringe festival in the world and incorporates all sorts of mediums of art and theatre. The Festival goes for a month beginning in mid-January and includes such displays as circus, cabaret, comedy, music, dance, theatre, film and visual art. It goes without saying that if you are in Perth in January or February, then this is absolutely something worth checking out, especially with the range of performances you can experience. As the Festival is held in summer, you do not have to worry about cold weather of any sort. The event was conceived in 1983 as a precursor to the Fringe World Festival. It was originally intended to be a one-off event, but the popularity it garnered made it a mainstay Festival for the city.
Explore the city
Australia is home to some incredible cities, each with its own unique charm. Perth boasts an impressive number of gardens and parks, all of which are maintained and kept beautiful all year round.
